MEET YOUR THERAPIST

Hi! I'm Ashley.

I've always believed that every person has a story worth understanding. Our experiences shape how we see ourselves and the world around us, but sometimes life has a way of convincing us that those experiences define who we are. During some of my own difficult seasons, I used to joke that "my life is one big novela that never ends." Over time, I realized that while those experiences became part of my story, they didn't have to determine how the rest of it would unfold.

Healing isn't about changing your past. It's about changing the relationship you have with it. This is a belief that means a lot to me, and one that I carry into my work at Beyond the Script Counseling. Your experiences are part of who you are, but they don't have to determine who you become.

Maybe you're starting college, navigating a new job, or adjusting to changes you never saw coming. Maybe you're dealing with the pressures of school, friendships, or trying to fit in. Or perhaps you're constantly overthinking, struggling with confidence, grieving a loss, or simply feeling overwhelmed by everything life has thrown your way. Sometimes, you might not even know exactly what's wrong. You just know you haven't been feeling like yourself lately.

I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, grief, life transitions, and more. I also offer sessions in English and Spanish. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, accepted, and supported as we explore your experiences, challenge thoughts that may be holding you back, and find ways to navigate life's challenges with grace, hope, and peace.

Sharing your story with someone else isn't always easy. It takes courage to let another person into the chapters you've kept to yourself, and I don't take that trust lightly. One of the greatest privileges of being a therapist is watching someone discover that they are so much more than the hardest things they've experienced.

Together, we'll begin writing the next chapter.. one that is NOT shaped by your hardest moments, but by your strengths, your values, and the person you are becoming.
